  • Nominations for Peer Leaders Positions

Although the fall 2015 semester is months away, it is time to begin the process of selecting peer leaders for the 2015-2016 academic year. As you know, peer leaders are an integral component of the Foundations Seminar course. Through serving as role models and experienced guides, they assist incoming freshmen in their transition from high school to the college environment. Peer leaders also provide invaluable support to  GS 101 instructors and assist with a variety of campus programs.

Students nominated for a peer leader position should exhibit a mature, outgoing manner and possess the ability to work effectively as part of an instructional team. Students who are in good academic standing and are current freshmen, sophomores or juniors are eligible for nomination.
