— Erika Haygood-Gault was also invited to serve as a 2015-2017 Public Scholar for the New York Council for the Humanities.
— Hilbert English professor Herb Kauderer had a new book of poetry and five other poems published over summer break. Modern Poems of Pennsic by Herb Kauderer, a collection of 170 mostly formal poems was published by Phil Martino on July 19, 2015. — In addition, Herb had haiku published in the humorously titled 50 Haikus issues #6 & #7. The long poem “Wedding Song” was published in Songs of Eretz Poetry Review available at: http://eretzsongs.blogspot.com/2015/07/poem-of-day-wedding-song-by-herb.html. The poem “hard copy” was published in the September 2015 issue of Asimov’s Science Fiction which is currently available on newsstands. And finally, the 21 line poem “Actuary Hearts” appeared in Poetry Quarterly #22.
