Viengmay Sets Single-Game Record

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Ashley Viengmay (Cheektowaga, NY/Maryvale) set a new Hilbert College single-game Dig record September 16 when she posted 30 digs in the Hawks’ 3-set loss to Alfred State.

The fifth-year senior averaged 10.0 digs per set collecting 13/13/4 digs in each of the three sets played.

After a medical hardship waiver allowed her to return to complete her final season at Hilbert, the defensive specialist has been credited with 139 digs in 29 sets played since the start of the 2015 season, thirteen days ago.  She currently averages 4.79 digs per set.

Viengmay is on track to break Hilbert’s single season Dig record (372 in 131 sets) and the Hawks Digs Per Set record (4.0 in 82 sets).
