Penn- York Conference

On Saturday, November 7, 2014, a group of students and faculty members from the Psychology Program traveled to The University of Pittsburg Titusville to attend the 16th Penn York Undergraduate Research Association Annual Conference.  The conference is a showcase for undergraduate research efforts from any academic discipline.  Penn York is an opportunity for students to gain valuable feedback regarding their projects, meet and interaction with faculty and students from various colleges and universities.

This year’s faculty attendees were Prof. Brianna Harris and Dr. Edward Pristach.  The poster presenters were Lauren Brown (The effects of the ketogenic diet on depressive symptoms), Jessica Joseph (Does your caffeine use affect your sleep quality?), Ellen Lema (The comparison of coping strategies and stress in college age students), Ailin Vega (The relationship between human cortisol and interacting with a novel dog), and Sara Wagner (Social learning theory: Driving aggression among young adults). LeAnna Nemeth also attended the conference.
