Spring 2016 Cultural Climate Survey Results

The Provost’s Advisory Council on Diversity in coordination with the Office of Multicultural Affairs would like to share the results of the Spring 2016 Cultural Climate Survey.  We gratefully extend our thanks to everyone who participated in completing the survey and the finalization of the report late fall of 2015.    While Hilbert is seen as an open and welcoming community, the survey has helped to highlight areas in which we can improve our efforts to insure that all members of the campus community experience a sense of inclusion, safety, and respect.   As Dr. Zane reminded us in her letter to the campus community in November, 2015, these are complex issues and, as such, a number of initiatives, both ongoing and more recent, have been instituted to address concerns.  We are fully committed to our work together to insure that Hilbert is a respectful, safe, and welcoming community for all. Please feel free to reach out to any member of the Provost’s Advisory Council on Diversity. We welcome your thoughts and concerns.
