FSSJ Prayer and Reflection

— “Living Life for a Living Planet: Our Gift to God” held on Saturday, October 1 from 12:30-4pm at the Catholic Center, 795 Main Street, Buffalo. Learn more about how to care for God’s wonderful gift of creation and each other. Bishop Richard Malone will join us for prayer. Keynote speaker, Fr. Jud Weiksnar, OFM, will speak on Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si, Care for Our Common Home.” There will be breakout sessions on: “Use Your Money to Save the Planet and One Another – Fair Trade”; “Save Your Money and Save the Planet” – NYS programs for energy efficiency in your homes; “Use Your Voice to Change the System” – practical ways to dialogue with elected officials; “Healthy Eating” – the connection between healthy eating and healthy living.
