— COM 493 Professional Seminar is part of the DMaC program’s immersive learning initiative to have our students participate in high-impact practices outside the classroom giving them material for their portfolios and professional contacts. Three professional projects from the class were accepted for publication on Buffalo Spree Magazine’s website and social media. Projects were produced by DMaC students Danielle Lutz, Jake Piskor, Dave Seifert, Amanda Snyder and Kashya Williams.

— DMaC senior Amanda Snyder is interning at the local NPR station, WBFO-FM. Her internship work will be featured on the website: http://news.wbfo.org/people/amanda-snyder. — Dave Seifert ’16 has recently graduated and is working as a video editor at Quinlan an advertising agency in Amherst, NY. Dave had previously served at Quinlan as a digital content intern. Danielle Lutz ’16 also recently graduated and is working at DRC Video Productions in Williamsville, NY as an Event Supervisor.
— Senior Jake Piskor will be interning this Spring at Propellerhead Media a sound production facility that does music scoring for TV, Radio, film, and video, voice over, radio production work in downtown Buffalo, NY.
